The venue meets all the design criteria put forth by FIBA (International Basketball Federation) and FIVB (International Volleyball Federation). Furthermore, it follows universal design principles so that the disabled, the elderly, and the families with children can easily access and circulate throughout the building. The Arena provides superior sound quality, the fast “load in/load out” system allows for the easy execution of consecutive events.
The entrances for different groups of people to the venue are separated from each other. While the spectators’ entrance is on one side, players, referees, management entrance is on the other side of the building. VIP spectators also have separate entrance.
The Arena structure is made of reinforced concrete structure. While the roof and the facade is carried by steel construction.
The arena is wrapped by a folded perforated shell, controlling the sunlight while giving a characteristic image to the building. While the shell structure is touching to the ground level, there are openings functioning as big windows to emphasize entrances and to give view to different facades of the building.
The most important aspect of the event space is that it brings the basketball field to the forefront. The hall space is made up of black furniture, the removable hardwood court and movable basketball hoops become the focal point of the space.
LED scoreboards are placed at each side of the main-game hall and hung from the ceiling. While the Media-cube is hanging high from the roof structure in the middle of the hall.

Facade Cladding: The metal shell structure covering of Arena’s facade will give a powerful appearance to the building. It also will provide shadows while welcoming the social life of the plaza. The structure defines the plaza and provides a semi open place for entrances and waiting areas. For the inner facade, the solid surfaces will be covered with sandwich panels, while transparent surfaces will be covered with glass curtain wall.
Floor Covering: The floor of the main-game field will be removable hardwood indoor basketball flooring, while the training hall will be fixed hardwood.
